Innovate UK is a part of the UK Research and Innovation government funding agency investing in science and research in the UK. They support businesses develop new technologies and realise the potential of new ideas. Innovate UK have supported much of CCell’s development since 2013 from proof of concept desk studies through to physical pilots in the target market.
EPSRC is the main UK government agency for funding research and training in engineering and the physical sciences, investing over £800 million per year. CCell’s research and development has been supported by the EPSRC since 2015.
Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) – The RAEng is the UK’s national academy for engineering and technology, promoting excellence in engineering for the benefit of society. As part of the RAEng’s Enterprise Hub, CCell is supported by the Academy, both in the form of funding as well as access to mentoring from some of the leading engineering minds in the UK.
Established by Queen Victoria in 1850, the Royal Commission is a trust providing funding support to advance science, engineering, the built environment and design. CCell received a Fellowship award from the Royal Commission, which is supporting the company’s development of its technology.
ecoreflect provides expertise on climate, the environment and sustainability issues in marine and land-based scenarios. The values of ecoreflect are greatly aligned with that of CCell’s, sharing a similar passion for sustainability. ecoreflect plays a valuable part in guiding and advising on CCell’s strategy and company development.
BioRock Technology works together with the Global Coral Reef Alliance (GCRA), restoring coral habitats using BioRock electrified reefs. The GCRA and BioRock Technology have over 30 years’ experience in developing and researching BioRock reefs. They provide invaluable expertise to CCell, drawing on their vast experience.
Qualti Innovaciones Marinas – Qualti are a team of engineers and scientists focused on marine solutions in Mexico. They have also developed patented seabed anchoring solutions, which are easy to build and install. Qualti is CCell’s project partner in the Caribbean, supporting site surveys, installation and marine operations of our CCell technology.
Fortissimo supports European SMEs in advanced simulations, modelling and data analytics using High-Performance-Computing (HPC). CCell were awarded support from Fortissimo as part of a collaborative project under the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 initiative.
